A Secret I Learned From A Billionaire This Week On Making More Money… Even In A Recession

I just finished up being a guest at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, as I was doing a site visit for a future event, and the number 1 reason they hire people isn’t experience but rather attitude? Everyone from the bellman who took my bags and showed me around my room and a little of the hotel , to the front desk people, to the people I just a question on where something was.The employees of the Wynn were friendly, had a great attitude and really cared about their guests.

What is also interesting, the Wynn hasn’t been as effected by the recession, they are still doing pretty well. I got off the phone with some friends of mine yesterday, Jimmy V and Travis Miller of Gravitational Marketing.

You know what is interesting.

They are serving an industry that has been beaten up badly, the Automotive industry. You know what I found most interesting? They had their best month ever. Let me repeat that, they had their best month ever. Why?

They haven’t bought into the sky is falling, and you can’t sell into an industry that has been beaten down. Heck car dealerships are going out of business left and right and the American auto industry is having some major issues.

Travis and Jimmy know how valuable their services are, and they have been creating the connections, the sales and marketing, that has allowed them to flourish.

Are you buying into the stories of your customers on why they don’t need your product or service, when you know in your heart of hearts they need what you have desperately. Are you buying into your own stories on why things are bad for you?

I used to do that, and guess what things didn’t turn out so good.

When I changed my outlook on life, business and helping others my life changed before my very eyes. How is your attitude? Does your attitude match your goals and objectives for the year?

Great article and Gravitational Marketing is a wonderful book. I am right in the middle of it and we train on those techniques weekly and they are proven techniques and tactics that big companies that prosper use but have been tailored for the small business owner……

Cheers to all and Happy Holidays,
    Marty
