Become A Better Connector In 15 Minutes

Someone once said success is is not an event, but a habit. Successful connecting is the same way – so you want to be sure you’re developing habits that create strong and lasting connections with people. And a great way to be memorable while doing that is to do what few other people do … touch base personally with a card.

If you kept a running stack of blank cards handy, it would take you 10 or 15 minutes to write a quick, handwritten note to a connection of yours. It doesn’t have to be anything elaborate – perhaps just a thank you or a mention that you’ve heard about them from someone … but write it out by hand.

People don’t tend to do this because it “takes time” … but if you set aside just a few minutes every day – even to send one single card out – it will pay off by creating connections that aren’t easily forgotten.

Make a point to get a package of cards this week and use this powerful tip to become a better connector.

Until we connect again.
