Lessons from Donald Trump’s Apprentice and Gene Simmons

It was interesting to watch how Gene Simmons and the celebrity men on Donald Trumps Celebrity Apprentice show raise over $50,000 by selling hot dogs. Mary Lou Henner on the all womans team decided to use the same approach as Gene Simmons.

While the majority of the celebrities focused on selling hotdogs to random people on the streets of New York, Gene Simmons and Mary Lou Henner tapped into their Relationships, and worked their rolodex.

Gene Simmons and Mary Lou Henner started tapping their influential and wealthy relationships to raise more money. Several people came down and paid $5,000-$10,000 for a water and a hotdog.

Remember it not what you know, its who you know, and how well you know them.

I like what Gene Simmons of Kiss had to say, some doors open up because of who is knocking on them. Gene Simmons is one incredible business man that truly understands branding and connecting with his audience.
