Choosing a Mastermind is an important decision that may dramatically improve the quality of your business success. Selecting the right Mastermind for you can mean millions of dollars to your bottom line and build relationships and trusted confidants that you can rely on for a lifetime. Here are some of the common questions that we’ve received regarding the Thought Leaders Mastermind Series.
What are the qualifying criteria to apply for the Mastermind?
The Thought Leaders Mastermind Series includes a set of carefully selected individuals to participate. Larry personally curates the selection process to make sure that the attendees are well balanced and able to support each other throughout the course of the year.
Though there is no “guaranteed” candidate for the Mastermind, there are some factors that are weighted more than others. Obviously, at this level, the establishment of a successful business is nearly a requirement. Attendees are expected to have a track record of business success in their field – whether it’s a best-selling book, corporate management & leadership experience, large-scale sales success, or other measurable factors.
It is also important to note that each member is required to share details about their business: including challenges and obstacles that may not be “public” information. The Mastermind environment is predicated on trust between attendees – and everyone is expected to bring an open mind to the table.
Who attends the Mastermind today?
The actual membership roster is not publicly released. However, here is a sampling of some of the traits of current attendees:
As you can see, the objective of the Mastermind group is not to bring together identical peers. How much time will I get to discuss my business with the group?
You will be provided at least 45 minutes to present your business to the group during each of the three face-to-face Mastermind sessions. This time is typically divided in two: The first half is a presentation of your current state and the challenges that you’re facing. The second-half is a hands-on brainstorming and strategy free-for-all with the entire group.
It’s important to keep in mind as well that the presentation and the brainstorming time, you’re given access to the members of the group through networking time throughout the event and afterwards. The real goal is to build actionable deals that can be executed as soon as you get back to your office – and those deals are often struck during the evenings after the main session.
What other perks are available for Mastermind attendees?
Beyond the presentation and collaboration sessions, Mastermind attendees are provided complimentary consulting and connection-making from Larry himself. Though certainly there are limits to the connections Larry can help make, by and large Mastermind attendees can request assistance from Larry to dive in to his massive rolodex of contacts to create new connections to drive their business forward.
At each Mastermind session, there is also a special guest lecturer hand-selected by Larry to provide fresh insight and new ideas in an intimate setting. This individual typically is operating at the top of their field: Whether it be an all-star Hollywood trend-setter, a #1 New York Times bestselling author, or a leading Fortune 500 C-Level executive.
